Update: 9th April 2025

We hope you are looking forward to joining us in June for the Congress.  We have added some important information below for those travelling to London.

Passports

If travelling from abroad then ensure that your passport is valid for your entire stay.  Ideally it should be valid for 6 months after arrival to avoid the risk of any issues when entering the country.

Visas

If you require permission to enter the UK and are not eligible for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) then the appropriate visa is the Standard Visitor Visa.  Make sure to apply soon as the visa process can take 6 weeks or longer.  If you have any queries then contact the British Embassy/British High Commission in your country.

If you still need an invitation letter then please follow the instructions on the Registration page as soon as possible.

If you have already provided these details then you should have received your invitation letter by now - if you have not then get in touch with us.

Accommodation

Make sure to book your accommodation early for best rates.  There are many choices in London and you are best choosing what suits your needs using websites such as Booking.com and Airbnb.

Some budget options include:

  • Ramsey Hall, UCL university (18 minutes walk from venue)

  • Hub by Premier Inn at Goodge Street (18 minutes walk from venue)

  • Hub by Premier Inn at Marylebone (27 minutes walk from venue)

We do not have special Congress packages/fees with any hotels.

Visa applications

The Local Organising Committee has now provided invitation letters to everyone who we are aware of requesting one.

If you still need an invitation letter then please follow the instructions on the Registration page urgently otherwise your visa may not be processed in time for you to visit the UK.
